A very grey day here, the sea was very still. Various finds: an interesting oyster shell, some mussels and another ray egg case. Photos are 3 redshanks with insufficient legs; a row of gulls with an oystercatcher interloper, and the bizarre clustering of the gulls as the tide goes out. I think that this is a shingle bank they are hanging around on, the sea is immensely shallow. But the horizon was completely absent today, leaving a lot of things just floating in the distance.
8 miles, very pleasant really.
