One from earlier in the week when it was windy enough for a lot of kite surfers to be out, and one from this evening. The wind is still fairly brisk though it has shifted round to the east rather than onshore.

The seafront is filling with barbecues again, all the little birds have gone off to their nesting areas (Greenland in some cases); and it is just the cosmopolitan gulls, starlings, sparrows and pigeons picking around in the shingle.

8 miles in about an aeon.

First kitesurfer looks like a disconsolate oversized butterfly and those shell shades are briliant. Keep up the good work!
